Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) The Republic For Hawai‘i — Governed By The People, Guided By Aloha
Answer: The Republic for Hawai‘i is the lawful reestablishment of constitutional self-governance in the Hawaiian Islands. It’s not a protest group or a political party. It is the de jure (lawful) body of the People — restoring the same bottom-up structure our Founders used in 1776 and The Hawaiian Kingdom, founded under the 1840 Constitution of King Kamehameha III, was internationally recognized as a sovereign nation. We operate under natural law, common law, and the original intent of the Constitution — not corporate statutes. The Republic for Hawai‘i is a sovereign body of Hawai‘i’s people working in trust with the national Republic for the united States of America. We don’t ask permission from corrupt systems. We restore what was always ours.
Answer: The Republic for Hawai‘i is lawful. The State of Hawai‘i is legal fiction — a de facto corporate entity operating under color of law, not by consent of the governed.
The so-called State of Hawai‘i is a business registered with the federal government. It masquerades as government, but answers to bureaucrats, not the people. Laws are passed in back rooms. Decisions are made by unelected agencies. And elections? They’re a carefully staged illusion — with no chain of custody, no transparency, and no real accountability.
It’s a system where global interests hold more power than local voices, and corrupt actors are protected while the people are silenced.
The Republic for Hawai‘i is built on the opposite foundation:
Real people, real assemblies
Lawful chain of authority
Local self-governance
Transparency, truth, and accountability
In a Republic, power flows from the People up. In the corporate system, it’s from the top down — and you’re expected to comply.
The choice is clear: Live under fiction, or Return to the Law.
Answer: No. The Republic for Hawai‘i is not a political party, nor are we affiliated with any party, campaign, or candidate.
We are a lawful government structure, not a partisan movement. While political parties compete for control, we stand for restoration of the original structure of governance — where the People themselves form local Assemblies and govern from the bottom up.
Politics is about power. The Republic is about principle.
We don’t seek to win votes. We seek to restore lawful governance — by the People, for the People, under divine and natural law.
Answer: Not at all. We honor the legacy of the Hawaiian Kingdom and recognize it as a sovereign nation that was never lawfully overthrown.
The Republic for Hawai‘i does not compete with the Kingdom — we protect its memory, respect its foundations, and uphold the lawful right of the Hawaiian people to govern their land.
Our structure serves as a temporary, transitional vehicle — a constitutional trust restoring lawful governance in the vacuum created by the de facto corporate occupation.
We believe there is room for unity, healing, and lawful restoration — not division. We are not here to erase the past, but to protect what was true, and create a path forward based on sovereignty, kuleana, and aloha.
Answer: Yes — if you stand for truth, personal responsibility, and lawful self-governance, you’re welcome here.
We represent all who call Hawai‘i home — not just one ethnicity, class, or ideology. The Republic is for those who are ready to lead, restore, and protect what matters most.
This isn’t about left or right. It’s about right and wrong. It’s about restoring the foundation of our island home through peaceful, principled action — no matter your background.
Whether you’re born here or have chosen to live here with honor, you have a seat at the table — if you’re willing to stand up and take it.
